Time: 6.30 -8pm

Venue: LIVE ONLINE

Date: November 10th and 17th

Suitable for: All abilities

Spend two creative evenings exploring watercolour and creating your own beautiful festive wreaths to enjoy throughout the winter season.

During these relaxed, online sessions, you’ll be guided through the process of creating  small wreath designs that can be used to create your own handmade Christmas cards. These smaller pieces give you the opportunity to experiment with different arrangements and colours while creating something you can share with friends and family.

Your main piece can be finished as a large artwork to display at home. With a little cutting and finishing, it could also be turned into a decorative wreath to hang with ribbon, creating a lovely handmade piece for your wall or door.

We’ll also explore how to paint a large watercolour wreath using simple techniques and a selection of festive colours and natural forms.

You’ll learn how to build up your wreaths, combine washes and details, and create balanced designs that you can make your own.

Each session will include demonstrations, guided exercises to help you develop your own designs. You don’t need to be an experienced watercolour artist to take part. The sessions are suitable for beginners as well as anyone who already enjoys watercolour and would like to create something festive.

A list of materials required will be provided before the course starts.

You'll also have access to the Art Hub, a dedicated place where you can post images of your work, share anything you do after the workshop has finished, and receive feedback from both fellow students and myself.

Book your place and create something handmade this Christmas or sit back relax and just watch!
