Give your Christmas presents an extra-special touch with your own handmade wrapping paper and gift tags.
 
During this relaxed and creative afternoon workshop, you’ll design a simple festive image, with a selection of ideas provided to help get you started. You’ll then learn how to carve your design onto a printing block, creating a reusable stamp that you can take home with you.
 
Using stamp pads, we’ll explore how to repeat your design across paper to create your own unique wrapping paper. You’ll also have the opportunity to print gift tags, creating a coordinated set of handmade Christmas packaging.
 
Your carved stamp is yours to take home, so the creativity doesn’t have to stop when the workshop ends. You’ll be able to use it again to print more wrapping paper, tags, cards or other paper projects at home.
 
No previous printmaking experience is needed. I’ll guide you through each stage with demonstrations and practical support, making this a fun and accessible introduction to hand printing.
 
All materials are provided, including your printing block, stamp pads,  large sheet of wrapping paper and 3 gift tags. You’re also welcome to bring along your own papers and tags.
 
Come along, get creative and make your Christmas wrapping as individual as the gifts inside.
