Course Booking Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to online courses, in-person courses and workshops, and bespoke/private sessions including 1-to-1 tuition and private group sessions.
Do I need to pay in full or just a deposit?
-
Places on my courses can be booked through my online shop while spaces are available, so you can still join a course right up until the first session starts.
-
All sessions must be paid in full, unless otherwise agreed.
Bespoke and private sessions
A bespoke/private session is a session arranged specifically for you or your private group, rather than a place on one of my advertised courses or workshops.
-
Bespoke courses and private sessions must be paid for in full at least 14 days before the agreed session date.
-
Once payment has been made, the booking is confirmed and payments are non-refundable.
-
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session before payment is due, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Can I get a refund?
-
Refunds cannot normally be given for online learning courses or digital downloads once access to the course or digital content has been provided, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
-
Bespoke courses and private sessions arranged specifically for an individual or group cannot normally be refunded or transferred unless agreed in advance.
-
If you are unable to attend an in-person course or workshop and give more than 30 days' notice before the start date, a refund will be made to the original payment source.
-
If you cancel within 30 days of the course or workshop starting, your payment can be transferred to another course if your place is filled by another student. If your place cannot be filled, the payment cannot normally be refunded.
-
If I have to cancel a course or workshop, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
-
These cancellation terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have.
What happens if there are changes to my course?
-
Courses usually run as advertised, but I reserve the right to alter, change or cancel courses when necessary.
-
If a session needs to be postponed because of circumstances beyond my control, an alternative date will be arranged. Refunds will not normally be given in these circumstances.
-
If it becomes necessary to cancel a course or workshop, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
-
I cannot accept liability for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by students as a result of a course being changed, postponed or cancelled.
Can I cancel an on-demand course?
-
You can cancel an on-demand course up until the time you receive the course confirmation and login details, subject to any statutory cancellation rights that apply.
-
Once access to the course or digital content has been provided, refunds cannot normally be given.
Will I receive course confirmation and further information?
-
Once a course is booked, you will receive confirmation and a receipt if payment is made in person (if requested) or online payment confirmation via email.
-
You may receive a Course Information Sheet with details of time and other relevant information, and possibly a materials list. Students are presumed to have the relevant materials unless stated otherwise. Contact us if you need advice on locating art materials.
Online learning
-
It is the student's responsibility to have a suitable internet connection to stream classes or download course content.
-
Students should ensure they can access the course content and download any required apps, such as Zoom.
-
I cannot be responsible for problems caused by a student's internet connection, device or software.
Materials (Art Supplies)
-
Unless otherwise stated, students are responsible for providing their own materials. Where materials are included in the course/workshop fee, this will be stated in the course information.
Please contact me if you need advice about locating or choosing art materials
Accessibility

I am a qualified Level 3 British Sign Language user and welcome all to access my courses. Contact me if you have specific questions or support needs.
