Learning with me is all about building skills, confidence and creative joy at your own pace. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to art after a long break, you’ll find supportive, high-quality teaching designed to meet you where you are.
From free art lessons and self-paced online art courses, to live art courses, private 1:1 tuition, home-education sessions, and fun arty parties, there are lots of ways to learn with me. Lessons are available online worldwide, with in-person options across West Somerset and surrounding areas.
The teaching is structured but gentle. I bring over 25 years of experience as an art educator, alongside my own professional studio practice. Lessons focus on observation, drawing, experimentation and making sense of materials, with space to build confidence and develop your own visual voice.
However you choose to learn, the emphasis is on process rather than pressure, curiosity rather than comparison. The aim is not just to make finished pieces, but to enjoy the act of learning itself.
