Create your own unique Christmas cards in this fun and creative morning workshop.
 
You’ll begin by choosing a simple festive design, with a selection of ideas provided to help inspire you. You’ll then learn how to transfer and carve your design onto a printing block, creating your very own reusable stamp.
 
Using stamp pads, you’ll print your design onto four Christmas cards, experimenting with placement and colour to create a set of handmade cards ready to send to family and friends.
 
The best part? Your carved stamp is yours to take home, so you can continue printing additional cards whenever you like. You could even use it to decorate gift tags, envelopes or other festive paper goods.
 
No previous printmaking experience is needed. I’ll demonstrate each stage and guide you through the process, making this an enjoyable introduction to simple hand printing.
 
All materials are provided, including your printing block, stamp pads, 4 blank cards to print on. You’re also welcome to bring along your own blank cards for printing.
 
You'll also have access to the Art Hub, a dedicated place where you can post images of your work, share anything you do after the workshop has finished, and receive feedback from both fellow students and myself.
