Discover the joy and simplicity of watercolour painting in this friendly four-week beginner’s course.
 
Each session gently introduces you to essential techniques, you’ll learn what’s special about watercolour paper and brushes, how to create washes and how to add simple details to bring your artwork to life. We’ll explore brush control, colour mixing, and step-by-step projects inspired by still-life and landscapes.

This course is ideal for complete beginners or anyone returning to watercolour after a break. You’ll be supported throughout with clear demonstrations, guided exercises and plenty of time to practise at your own pace.
 
All materials are provided, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the process, but you’re very welcome to bring your own brushes or paints if you prefer to use them.
 
You'll also have access to the Student Chatroom, a dedicated place where you can post images of your work, share your progress, and receive feedback from both fellow students and myself.
