I started this print with a series of little sketches while observing a flock of hens scratching for corn.

This print was made by creating a hardground etching on a metal plate, which is then dipped into Copper Sulphate solution for various lengths of time to create an open bite aquatint. The plate is then inked up with different colours and printed Intaglio style.

It is a very absorbing and time consuming process with lots of stages for the ‘magic’ to happen.

Printed on a lovely white paper.

You will receive one of an open edition

The print size is 7.5 x 10 cm

This print will be supplied (unmounted) ready for your own mount and frame.

Please contact me to discuss framing costs.

Each print is signed, editioned and titled in pencil on the front.

I try to limit my use of none recyclable materials so your purchase will be wrapped in paper for protection.
