I took a holiday in Wales a few years ago and visited this lovely little harbour at Porthgain and walked part of the costal path. I created lots of sketches (which I sense were excuses for a stop and sit down!) This print was created from one of those sketched views.

This print was made by creating a hardground etching on a metal plate, which is then dipped into ferric chloride for various lengths of time to create an open bite aquatint. The plate is then inked up and printed Intaglio style.

It is a very absorbing and time consuming process with lots of stages for the ‘magic’ to happen.

Printed on a lovely white Snowden paper.

You will receive one of a limited edition of 20

The print size is 10 x 15 cm

This print will be supplied (unmounted) ready for your own mount and frame.

Please contact me to discuss framing costs.

Each print is signed, editioned and titled in pencil on the front.

I try to limit my use of none recyclable materials so your purchase will be wrapped in tissue paper for protection.
