A lovely Painted Lady butterfly.

It was good to try them out on a whole painting and play with mixing and coverage of the different colours.

Some colours were very like gouache, others like watercolour and some dried with quite a shine!

I wish I had worked on a coloured background as I struggled to get the white of the catkins.

It would be good to see how the Gansai Tambi work on surface other than white watercolour paper.
