Nice work. Is it on a canvas? Did you find it hard to sketch such a textured surface?

Early morning reflection.

The reflection of a Greek fishing boat in the still of the early morning. This is a project I’ve been putting off for ages as it’s a bit ambitious for my watercolour ability, but when i got some new lovely soft brushes I thought I’d give it a try. I’m reasonably pleased with bits of it but not everything went to plan.

Carol this is so lovely. You can read that it's a reflection so it works well. I was a little lost with the fishing net first off, but then it made sense. It would be interesting to see the source image.

Helen, nice work. I like the hands in situ, good idea. You have captured the veins and texture on the back of the hand really well.
