This lino print is of a stag sleeping in the shade of the forest edge. When I saw him I was sure he was alseep, by the time I'd finished my sketch and was ready to move on I knew he was awake and watching me from under his almost closed eye lids!
Lino printed in either standard oil based black ink or as a colour 'rainbow roll' print from light to dark brown.
