Inspired by a Christmas card, I’ve attempted a Lino print using a rainbow roll and jigsaw technique for the background and overprinting the reeds and starlings. I found the cutting for the murmuration quite difficult but maybe it does sort of give the impression I was after. Helen

Very nicely done Helen. I would struggle cutting such small shapes so close together.
Can I ask you about the Sizzix Helen. My wife has just bought the Sizzix Big shot plus for cardmaking. I have not yet tried it for linoprinting. Which plates do you use and how do you prevent the lino from moving ? Any tips greatly appreciated.

Yes your murmuration works, just about. Perhaps a few more bird shapes or much smaller shapes at the edges???
