Another artist with a similar style is Michael Craig-Martin ( b 1941). I saw his work several years ago at the Portrait gallery in London. The pictures below are of Zaha Hadid , a famous Iraqi born architect.
Craig-Martin uses an LCD monitor linked to a computor. As you view the portrait it slowly changes over time in infinite combinations. I’m not really sure what to make of it. When I first viewed the work
it reminded me of Andy Warhol’s Marlyn Monroe. I believe it is a conceptual picture, depicting the fact nothing ever stays the same…. ( a type of portrait vanitas? )

Yay, I love these, they really made me smile! I especially like the Patrick Moore and your self portrait. They remained me of the work of Julian Opie.
