This was a great exploration of mark making. Especially striking in monochrome.

I really enjoyed this funnily enough, you know I’m not keen on the pastels on my hands. I did get filthy doing this and I think I’ll do it again. I used quick black ink for the leaf impression which has come out blue for some reason, I know we use this for it’s lovely colour variations with water but did not expect it to be so blue here.
I like the mixture of techniques which give an interesting sense of depth.

May be the quink reacted with something from the leaves?
