Very skillfully done Sonia. You can feel the heat and light coming from behind. I’ve tried something similar with a brush pen but found it difficult controlling the ink/ water to achieve the different tones.
George thank you, I used two brush pens, one just had water in it and the other water and black quink ink. For the lighter branches I put down the water first and the the quink mix after but sometimes I was just really carefully with the flow of ink mix. Using the brush pens reminded me of how I use my Chinese brushes for painting. I enjoyed doing this.

Love the tonal range, this really gives the effect of depth. What type of ink did you use? It's a really nice warm colour.
Very delicate, has a lot of movement to it.
