Thank you George for your encouraging comments.Thea
Really nicely done. To get the perspective right is difficult. Lovely picture.
Yes Tricia!Hobbycraft had a special offer on them a couple of months ago so after the recommendation from Sonia I decided to buy them.I found the Derwent ones tended to flood.
Thank you for your lovely comments,Liz.I found it easier when i returned to it the second time with the addition of Posca pens!
I love this style, my Aunt was a professional artist used to do what she called interiors, with bookshelves or corners of rooms and they were some of her best sellers, but she used to say they were a lot of work. Looking at this she was right all that detail.
Ha! Ha! Helen, think I'll pass on the childrens story, had enough of those in recent years!Thank you for your compliments.
This is great Thea. It would make a lovely illustration in a child’s picture book. You’ve just got to write the story to go with it now!
Yes! I remember your bookshelf Tricia . It was fun,you gave us the idea in class and I was determined to finish it and enjoyed it.Thanks for your compliments.Thea.
Oww. Lovely I like the blue and white tea service.
I did a pen and watercolour of a bookshelf a while back. It's such a fun idea to play with.
