How to make a Tin-Can Dip Pen

In this video I’ll show you how to make a set of fantastic Dip-pens from a single drinks can.


This is such a great project and these dip-pens work so well.

See how I use my dip pens in a small pen and wash project:


For this project you will need:

  • A tin-can/ Drinks can

  • Kitchen scissors

  • Protection for your hands (just for the first part)

  • Drinks stirrer, stick, twig, skewer (something for a handle)

  •  Good quality tape, I use a cross weave tape, you could use parcel tap, plumbers’ tape, etc.

This project should take between 20 – 40  minutes.
