This is fabulous. The eyes again are marvellous and the body is lovely and sleek. When painting fur you can either break the edge between one colour and another by using a damp brush to pull one colour out a little ragged (feather the edge). Or use a dry brush with a contrasting colour (light/white over dark or dark over light) and stroke this dry brush colour very lightly over an edge to create a wispy fur effect. This cat looks very content. Every time I try to get a photo of my cats, they sense it and get very suspicious! ;-)

Thanks very much appreciated. Tricia gave me some good tip on techniques for painting fur. As always practice makes perfect, kind regards John.
I like your cat pictures John. There is quite a folk art feel to your style which I think is very effective. Lovely!
Thanks Tricia, it is my daughter in laws cat Winnie. she looks content as she is really lying on the radiator getting warm. The tips are welcome. John
