The last picture is an exercise called blob painting. Basically you blob a bit of paint (this was metallic copper) and use an old credit card or piece of card and move it around randomly. Wait to dry and then see what animals, etc you can visualise in your paint blob.

Like the sunflower and the I think last picture has a minamilist oriental feel.
