I have really had lots of fun demonstrating charcoal and graphite powder over the past week!

Tuesday was a charcoal owl, Wednesday was a charcoal squirrel then this Monday was the owl again in graphite.

I managed to get much better tones with the charcoal and most of the image was done with charcoal powder. The graphite powder only created light tones and I had to work into it more with graphite pencils and the rubber. For me I preferred the charcoal, but I could create finer details with the graphite powder and adding pencil details.

Both mediums are nice and messy though!
