Chance button press got a slow motion sound effect a bit like another layer of perspective or expression..I took it down from tiktok as i was selfconscious of it looking a bit hobo ish but thought to post it here and other storage for sake of reference...part of my slowly emerging neokubric esque video opus for a bognor experience

I think you are exploring ‘art’ in different ways and yet not found what you’re comfortable with. Maybe use your drawn art as a way to storyboard your ‘camera/movie art’, just a thought.
Canva also allows you to create short videos I think. I've never used that facility, but there is something interesting in trying to condense ideas into a short film. A bit like trying to write a haiku.
I'm so glad you are having fun exploring this new medium. It's also interesting to see how you are approaching the development of ideas into quite a different medium. It's worth finding our about the 'conventions'of film making. Think about filmic tropes and how you can play about with expectations.I would also think about using an app (live canva) or photoshop to make a thumbnail or 'title page' for the start, which will be displayed initially, especially as above, when you are scrolling through images and videos.
Yet - from this initial attempt or exploration - I find myself looking anew at what possible materials I could start to gather with camera and store to have available for further editings ( plus also what additional to the basic kinds of editing treatments one can access via apps) ....similar to how I have begun to look at things anew and new possibilities from having done the introductory drawings and paints classes and experiences from here and such classes and stimulus...
regarding the few elements in the sequence - which were pre - existing in my store - the humming and wandering hand camera of the second part was me humming to at least start to explore how sound and music can go with images - who knows later one maybe could use all kinds of recorded sound input editing but for now I had to start here at basic level 1....SO - all the elements could be re-explored with more sophisticated filmmaking one day....the initial words were a summing up of some writing and drawing one had done in a session..i called it road to a new age...as one was feeling something hopeful could come from recent times....)....but...the meanings may still seem underdeveloped of course...and the " come on" shout was a sort of giving the attitude some passion of the desire to actually some personal or mutual or wider evolution...or to have a newer world or realm or possibilities of solutions to life's meaning or meanings... Andy, thanks for sharing.....I always try to comment on peoples posts, with something I like about their piece and either something they can add or a question to prompt more information.I'm not sure what to say about your video... Its great that you put it out for us all and I really appreciate that. It made me smile for sure.....but I'm not sure what it means.Maybe like all 'Art " it's up to the viewer to give the work meaning, not the artist....I may have to think on this one for a bit. 🙂

canva seemed a new one to me...I have looked up canva.com online...trying any of the various apps is part of the exploring...
