I love It as it is as well, but great idea to photocopy and experiment. The idea of a sepia type wash sounds good. it would make a nice place mat. look after yourself liz
Thanks Tricia. I didn't want to spoil this effort so I tried photocopying it, then went over it with a wash. Also tried using bold acrylics too. Wasn't so good so didn't want to post those! Might try some ochre tones to make it look old. The barn is from seventeen hundred and something.
I love this. It could be so many things. You could leave it just line work. You could add a tonal wash to it. You could use felt tips to add bold colours. You could even use it to make a lino print.What was your plan? Are you leaving it just lines or adding more?

Have used tea in the past to make picture look old.
Yes ochre might look really good on this. Warm tones.
